Your students will discover that a person whose life's reference point is Christ has an unshakable joy, peace, and hope!
Five cards are displayed to your audience. Volunteers narrow the five folded cards down to one card without knowing what is pictures are inside the cards. One by one, the four unselected cards are shown to be four 'reference points' people often have in life. When the selected card is shown, it reveals Jesus Christ to be the ‘Reference Point’ around whom our lives should revolve.
This is a fully scripted 15 minute lesson!
A large picture with four Christian Faith symbols is shown to your audience. You choose a volunteer to verbally select one of the four symbols. When you turn the picture around, their selection matches exactly to a card you have attached to the back of your picture!
The match is always correct, no matter which of the four symbols your volunteer selects!
No sleight of hand is needed!
Teaching points are provided for each of the four picture. Moreover, you can easily use this to present many other fundamental teachings from scripture such as: Easter, Last Supper, salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Communion, etc...
There are many "Names of Christmas" but Jesus will always be the name your volunteer chooses to declare what Christmas is all about!
Powerful Emphasis: So many names! God's love is expressed through so many marvelous promises and prophecies! Still, God's love, His promises, and His plan of salvation are all wrapped up into one name, JESUS!

Anyone can do this lesson Gospel Magic Object Lesson! There is no slight of hand involved and it can really play well for humor and audience participation. Plus, the Gospel lesson is a message every person should hear. "God is our perfect heavenly Father. God shows us throughout all of scripture what He does and what He is like. There are many words we can use to describe God, our perfect Father."
You will use one volunteer who will randomly select a name or item from a list. Your volunteer will then relate their selection to one name from a second list. Amazingly, you will ALWAYS know what they have selected!

This is a wonderfully easy Gospel Magic Object Lesson to present which visually illustrates that Christ conquered death by rising from the dead.
Here is What Happens!
You show the back of three fanned cards to each have a picture of a sealed tomb. Turning the fanned cards around, you show that the other sides of the cards contain pictures of a cross. The two outer cards each have a black cross; the center card has a red cross. Turn one card around to show the tomb and place it in front of the other two cards. As you approach the end of your lesson, you turn the tomb card back around again to show that the two black crosses have remained the same; however, the center red cross has changed into a picture of Christ!
