You first show three cards each having a picture of a golden star. Then, as you show all three again, they have all changed to a picture of an angel. Finally, you reveal that one of the three cards has again changed to a picture of a wooden cross. When you finally show all three cards each is different as in the photo illustration.

This is an innovative twist on a decades old favorite magic trick! Your audience is challenged to be blameless in their thoughts, words, and actions so they will point people to Jesus! You hold up a 5.5 x 5.5 card that has a colorful star on both sides. To begin with, the star always points upward, no matter how many times you turn it over. Then suddenly, it changes the direction it points. It points up, then down, then up, then down. Again, it changes and will only point downward with each turn. Finally, the star returns to pointing upward with each turn. The star visually illustrates how important thoughts, words, and actions are to being an effective witness for Christ!
