The effect is absolutely full-proof and is done with no sleight-of-hand! It is very easy-to-do with minimal preparation!

A volunteer writes any four names from the Bible onto the four corners of a blank index card. Using a second index card, you do the same with four different names. (Note: The names are randomly selected and not forced in any way at all on the volunteer!) The two cards are torn vertically and horizontally into four pieces. Your volunteer tosses the names onto a stand or table and narrows the 8 names down to one final name which will match exactly with a name on a card inside an envelope that you displayed even before any names were written down.
